We got through Thanksgiving and Christmas . . . it snowed in January, which for VA Beach was REALLY weird.
Emilie had her 9th birthday in March:
Because her birthday fell during the week, she had an iCarly themed bowling party (and insisted on wearing a flower lei and headband. lol) On her actual birthday, we got an ice cream cake and gave her presents from us. Well, I should say *I* did . . . because Mike was in Cuba.
Just after the earthquake in Haiti, his squadron was sent down to Guantanamo Bay to aid in relief efforts in Haiti . . . so Mike missed Emilie's birthday for the 3rd year in a row. But, it's the Navy . . . what can you do? ;)
At the end of March we went to Jacksonville for Terri and Chris's wedding! Pics: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=218772&id=696854061

We spent a little under a week down there . . . did wedding stuff, hung out with Kristie and Eddie and the boys and went to St. Augustine. :D
And we found out that we were transferring at the end of May! So the moving plans flipped into high gear at that point!
Kristie and Eddie and the boys came up from Jacksonville at the end of April so that Eddie could officiate at Mike's reenlistment: http://www.facebook.com/#!/album.php?aid=231399&id=696854061
. . . and with that . . . we are pretty much up to speed!
Next to come, now that we are completely settled in . . . the story of our move across the country!
